Education Center & Museum

Emerged in the historically rich area of Jefferson Island in Southern Louisiana, the proposal integrates the site’s hillside condition, and salt dome lake condition, into a prolonged experience that weaves program between the rural exterior and the intentional interior. Each programmatic section of the proposal is strategically framed by a delicate wrapping fence that allows for a feeling of environmental meandering and a possibility for direct circulation.
